Network and Security Engineer

As a Network and Security Engineer you will be part of the EMEA Network Operations Centre for a multinational company, providing day-to-day operations support, involvement in new projects and evaluation of new products and solutions. As part of the global Network Operations Centre, this also involves working with geographically diverse locations and therefore the candidate must have good communication skills and have worked in a similar environment. This role is essential to maintain minimal downtime in various business functionalities, such as manufacturing plants, sales offices, R&D centre, etc. You must be able to handle incidents, manage change and be involved in project implementation.

Our ideal profile has solid experience in:

• Providing data and voice support for the EMEA region.
• Configuring and managing WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure (Cisco CCNA certification minimum, CCNP desirable)
• Configure and manage firewall infrastructure (Checkpoint and Palo Alto expertise certification desirable)
• Configure and administer proxy infrastructure (familiarity with proxy concept, proxy scripting, Windows OS configuration)
• Configure and administer VPN infrastructure (familiarity with VPN concept, knowledge of Palo Alto or desirable certification)
• Configure DNS and DHCP infrastructure (Infoblox)
• HIGH level of English
